MatchMaker is a dating site that focuses on local dating down to the city/town level. The site usually has 6,000 members online at any given time which is about half of other sites providing this data. The demographics of the members skew towards a larger percentage being women with almost 80% of all members being above the age of 35. Matchmaker is priced lower than many other dating services, especially if you sign up for a 12 month subscription.

   Matchmaker is not the largest site out there, but their smaller scale allows you to be easily found by others instead of getting lost in the crowd.

   The two best aspects of Matchmaker is the cost and the ability to easily view profiles of members in or near your town. With a cost lower than most other dating sites, you are able to spend less on the dating service and more on the date. MatchMaker.com is very locally based which also assists in getting noticed.

   Positives:

   • Targets users down to the City you live in
   • Lower cost than most other dating service

   Negatives:

   • Does not provide much extra support
   • Small photos when looking at lists of singles
